The goal of the European Union Digital Single Market strategy is to ensure that Europe is prepared for the emerging growth of future products and digital services.

In Spain, derived from the strategy Industria Conectada 4.0, every region is developing their own regional strategy for making sure the companies the embrace the digital transformation, with the help of the regional government. The i4CAM DIH is part of the workgroup, started by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, for the planning of specific actions of the Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), being an active part of the National Executive Commission created to that end.
In Castilla-La Mancha, the regional government will submit in 2018 ‘Soy digital Castilla-La Mancha’, the new Business Digitising Plan.
It consists of a new strategy of digital transformation which adapts the SMEs of Castilla-La Mancha to the new management models in the digital economy environment, incorporating new technologies to freelance, micro-companies and SMEs which have a direct impact in the improvement of the internal and external processes of the beneficiaries.
The i4CAM DIH participates in the development of this Business Digitising Plan of Castilla-La Mancha collaborating in the different initiatives that will be launched by the regional government as the regional Industry 4.0 strategy for fostering the digital transformation of the business network.
On the other hand, the industrial focuses of the i4CAM hub are included in the Reginal Smart Specialization Strategy of Castilla-La Mancha, in the community context of RIS3 (Research and Innovation Smart Specialization Strategy).
